On\u00a0September 19-20 Centre Georges Pompidou and Musee d\u2019Orsay in Paris will host a two-day colloquium on the education of women as artists in 19th-century Paris. Manthorne will deliver a talk on the French training of Irish-born Eliza Pratt Greatorex (1819-1897) and her American daughters.
